Hand stamped details cover nearly every available space on this turquoise ring! Features a large square of Variscite on a thick sterling silver band.
Variscite - Snow Mountain, commonly found in Australia, Brazil, Spain, Utah and Nevada. This mineral is frequently substituted for turquoise, or incorrectly identified as turquoise. The two stones are sometimes found together, being made of similar elements.
Variscite can range in color from yellow to green, and has bluish-green varieties that often are mistaken for turquoise. Variscite is on the rare side of gemstones, and is rarely used in jewelry, making this piece a unique and rare find!
