Made in America of our softest pure virgin wool, this child-sized blanket depicts the Milky Way, or "Chief’s Road." The Big Dipper and North Star are in the center, with bear and moose tracks bordering the night sky. Lodges on two sides represent the children of the Creator and Mother Earth. Designed by artist Jesse Henderson exclusively for Pendleton. Reverses to gold sky with blue stars.

About the artist: Jesse Henderson is a Chippewa-Cree artist from the Rocky Boy Reservation, in the Bear Paws Mountains of Montana. He uses oils to create work depicting the history and culture of his tribe. Jesse has been honored as a Lewis and Clark signature artist, a featured artist of the Museum of the Plains Indian, and was named a top young Native American artist by Southwest Arts magazine.
