The 520 series is very special to the Bohlin collection. The 520 is entirely die struck out of a die Ed Bohlin carved years ago.
After years of use this die still strikes true and creates the beautiful 520 buckles. The 520 is the all silver version with a high polished edge.
This buckle features a shield where your initials or brand can be overlaid or engraved onto the buckle. This buckle is made to fit a 3/4" belt.
Edward Bohlin created a brand that is as iconic as the famed Western stars that wore it, from such film heroes as Hopalong Cassidy, the Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, and the Cisco Kid.
Bohlin specializes in custom or one-of-a-kind pieces. More than 50% of their production is dedicated to custom work, and 100% of their design and production is in-house. It is the high-class merchandise that counts!
Bohlin designed solid gold buckles set with diamonds, rubies, and sapphires for Gene Autry and businessman Adolph Weinberg, while featured in the center of the shop, shown off in a maple-trimmed glass case, was The Big Saddle, Bohlin’s personal rig that reportedly took 14 years to make.
As the Bohlin Company approaches its 100th anniversary in 2020, the brand is secure, as much a part of the West as the men and women who wore it.
