Traditional Cowboy Arts Association
Traditional Cowboy Arts Association
The annual Traditional Cowboy Arts Association (TCAA) offer the finest of Western saddles, bits, spurs, braided rawhide gear and exquisite silver work by talented gear makers from the western United States and Canada.
The idea for the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association began in 1998 when veteran gear makers gathered in Idaho to share their concerns about the lack of growth in the craft of traditional Western cowboy gear. With a decline of new talent, aging master craftsmen and lack of public recognition, the group was fearful there would be little future for these historical trades. They believed the problems would be best addressed by a small "society" of artisans highly regarded by their peers and the public.
**NOTE: Exhibition catalogs for 2011 and 2012 are $30. All catalogs 2010 and before are $25.
