Texas Brushstrokes: Contemportary Images of the Outdoors

Texas Brushstrokes: Contemportary Images of the Outdoors

by Ray Sasser

Celebrating the compelling work of fourteen individuals that have left their indelible mark on the world of wildlife and sporting art. Among these are the Texas titans John P. Cowan , Ken Carlson, and Kent Ullberg.

The lives and work of fellow artists - Al Barnes, Reveau Basset, Charles Beckendorff, Herb Booth, John Dearman, David Drinkard, Ragan Gennusa - are explored in depth, along with descriptive commentary by each artist.

Additional artists featured are celebrated sculptors Bob Guelich and Gene Zesch. Outstanding nature photography by Wyman Meinzer and vivid illustrations by Jack Unruh round out our Lone Star tribute in "Texas Brushstrokes."
