Rarely is a book devoted to one piece of an artist's work, but Spirit of the Bull is just such a book. The monument was commissioned by the Houston Texans football team for their stadium. It symbolizes the spirit of the bull through pride, courage, strength, tradition, and independence. Matia's journey to bring this idea to life is chronicled here through his words and pages of photos. Viewing the long process of creating the monument makes it all the more meaningful. The Spirit of the Bull is alive and well in Houston as long as Matia's monument is there.
