WEB DESIGN INTERNSHIP
The unpaid internship is hosted by the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The host institution is also the site of internship activities.
The purpose of this internship project is to allow the intern an opportunity to function as a professional in his chosen field, and to confirm his enthusiasm for this choice of career path.
The specific goal of this project is to design an interactive database driven web site kiosk to be presented in the Museum's Western Performers Gallery.
Direction and content of the project will be provided by the Museum.
Intern must have knowledge of HTML, basic Adobe Photoshop skills, DreamWeaver, ASP.NET, and must possess good communication skills and be able to work independently.
The Intern is not an employee of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and shall not be entitled to any benefits.

Museum Store Manager
GENERAL DUTIES: Responsible for customer service and merchandise inventory at the Museum Store to ensure that it corresponds to the mission of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
SUPERVISOR: Chief Financial Officer
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attend various markets to obtain merchandise of a Western theme.
2. Maintain working relationships with vendors.
3. Establish contacts with corporate organizations.
4. Maintain employee training programs and set a daily example to other employees of excellence and exemplary customer service.
5. Oversee inventory cycle counting process, inventory control process and conduct year-end physical inventory.
6. Know and remain current on all cash register and point of sale procedures.
7. Maintain a close working relationship with Accounting Department.
8. Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
