Much like the men and women of the West, the Museum operated independently, relying on Museum members and private funding to support its vision to remain the premier institution preserving and interpreting the American West. From the earliest era of Western expansion to today, we know of countless acts of sacrifice and selflessness. Each generation has prepared the way for the next. Such is the tradition of the National Cowboy Museum’s Western Heritage Legacy Society.
The Western Heritage Legacy Society recognizes benefactors who share the determination to preserve the great heritage of the West. Their support in this support in this effort is expressed through a deferred gift to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
