Thanks to the generosity of the William S. and Ann Atherton Foundation, as well as the Martin C. and Elizabeth M. Dickinson Foundation, we have the opportunity to receive $150,000 for the vital education, exhibition and preservation efforts that the Western Heritage Fund supports.
If the Museum raises $50,000 for Western Heritage Fund education programs before December 31st, the Atherton family will match those funds with a $50,000 gift to the Museum’s Dickinson Research Center and the Western Heritage Fund’s preservation efforts. …And because the Dickinson family graciously matches donations to the Research Center, this $50,000 will be matched again and ultimately result in $150,000 of mission-critical funding. But we can only meet this challenge with your help!
The Western Heritage Fund was established for like-minded individuals to share their convictions in telling the evolving story of the American West. Contributions to the fund directly support the Museum’s:
- Education programs
- Donald C. & Elizabeth Dickinson Research Center’s preservation and archiving Initiatives
- Exhibition creation and maintenance
- …and many other efforts aimed at helping all generations find their West.
That is why this rare 3 for 1 matching gift challenge is so important. Whether it’s $100 becoming $300, $500 becoming $1,500, or $1,000 becoming $3,000, – your contribution will go three times farther in safeguarding our history through the Western Heritage Fund.
Thank you for helping us meet this challenge!
